Mechanical Systems Design: A Jumping Robot

For this project I learned how to design mechanical systems through an iterative process that involved applying intuition, brainstorming, analysis, computation, and prototype testing. I gained experience in designing custom mechanical components, selecting common machine elements, and choosing electric motors and transmission elements to meet specific performance, efficiency, and reliability criteria.
